Dear valued stakeholder,
First and foremost, please allow me to thank you. Last Friday, with the sad news of Queen Elizabeth II’s passing and IMPA London’s central location in the heart of Westminster, the Events team announced the inevitable postponement of our September event. The support we have received from our exhibitors, stakeholders and visitors in the midst of this unprecedented situation has been incredible and has overwhelmed us all. These are times incredibly difficult for all and your understanding means the world.
Over the last two days, the entire IMPA team has been working around the clock, speaking to our broad range of stakeholders and deciding the best dates for our rescheduled event this 2022. Our priority, as always, remains ensuring that we give everybody coming to IMPA London a very special and unique experience. For this to be the case, we cannot rush. We must not only give our team enough time to reorganise, but more importantly, give our valued exhibitors, stakeholders, speakers and attendees enough time to replan and make arrangements.
After a long weekend with countless discussions with our broad range of stakeholders, including the IMPA Council, it has been decided that IMPA London will return as a one-off Christmas special on 13th and 14th December 2022.
Taking place as usual at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre in the heart of Westminster, IMPA London 2022 will bring forward a two-day exhibition and sustainability-focused conference, a brand-new Green Zone, the now iconic IMPA Sustainability Run, and a multitude of side events and workshops, ensuring there will be something for each and every one.
IMPA London has long been a wonderful celebration; one of business, of relationships and of community; a two-day experience that should not be held back by rushed preparations, especially when it comes after such a long and difficult time for all. We believe these new December dates will allow everybody involved to regroup, rethink the best strategy and be back in full swing, so we can ensure IMPA London 2022 will be as memorable as previous years, now with the added touch of the dazzling London Christmas lights and mince pies.
Nicole Roberts, IMPA’s Director of Events, said, “IMPA London is about bringing people together and it has such a global feel. We really want to see it back to its best and London in December with the Christmas lights and everything that goes with the festive season will be providing the perfect backdrop for a truly special one-off event.”
More will be revealed in the days to come, so please keep an eye on the IMPA Events website at www.impa-events.com/london-2022.
