Who is Cargo Care Solutions, and how are you “disrupting” the market?
Cargo Care Solutions is a company with a long history in the field of cargo handling equipment. As the former after-sales network of Macor Neptun and SEOHAE Marine System, we have over 30 years of experience in the maritime industry. Today, we are a maker independent and all-around supplier and can supply parts and services for all maritime cargo handling equipment brands.
We offer a completely independent one-stop solution for Cargo Access Equipment such as hatch covers, RoRo-Equipment, watertight doors. With our experience, we developed several substitute products for the makers. One example is our UltraPad, a new generation hatch cover bearing pad or support pad. The UltraPad offers the lowest wear on the market today. Thus significantly improving the lifetime of the hatch cover pads. We offer our UltraPad in all main sizes for all makers.
We have also have a business unit on Deepwell Cargo Pumps. Close to 5 years ago, we experienced a need in the market for a third party servicing deep well cargo pumps on tanker vessels. After several positive meetings with existing clients, we have started our services, becoming the first independent service provider for deep well cargo pumps. Over the last years, we significantly scaled our scope of supply, service activities and service locations. So we can keep accommodating the growing global demands of our customers. As a result, we can offer our clients international support from Rotterdam, Houston and Singapore with high-quality spare parts and local service from engineers with a long history at the original maker or extensive in-house training.
We also have an in-house hydraulic workshop in Rotterdam that can assist with any hydraulic repairs necessary. As a genuine service provider, we can help our customers to turnkey with minor mechanical and hydraulic issues. We specialise in the overhaul of hydraulic cylinders for hatch covers, cranes, etc. When needed, we can also produce replacement cylinders with a quick turnaround.
What makes your product/services special?
It is entirely maker independent, but as an organisation, we have a background of being a maker. So we work according to specific procedures and guidelines to ensure our customers the best quality parts and services. We try to partner with our customers to create the best value for them.
What are you hoping to get the most out of IMPA events in 2022?
We hope IMPA allows us to connect with the market again. The Pandemic gave opportunities to finetune our business, video conferencing allowed us to keep in touch with our customers, but nothing beats in-person contact to make connections.
