An important announcement from the IMPA Events Team

concerning IMPA London 2020 at the QEII Conference Centre, Westminster, London on 15th and 16th September 2020

Dear valued stakeholder,

First and foremost, we trust all our clients and friends, as well as their families, are healthy and well, and managing to cope with the current pandemic scenario and all that it has brought with it.

Like all of you, we are monitoring the situation on a daily basis, making plans in our organisation and trying to predict the situation and, when we can, return to normal life.

We have for the last few weeks been extremely hopeful of being able to stage a wonderful event this September and we know that a great many of you have been looking forward to IMPA London for the annual gathering with colleagues. We would also like to thank you for your supportive messages.

Our first priority is, of course, the health, safety and wellbeing of all our stakeholders for our events, which includes exhibitors, visitors and the teams that help put the events together. This is quickly followed by our second priority which is to ensure that we provide value and deliver for all our stakeholders.

It is clear that there will be a number of difficulties attached to the event this year, in particular, we had planned more networking and more gatherings, more conference sessions and more social activity.

With all these factors and several others considered we have taken the decision to reschedule IMPA London 2020 to the week beginning 22nd March 2021. The event will take place on the Thursday 25th and Friday 26th March with additional events running on the Wednesday 24th and the Saturday 27th.

We have a number of new initiatives planned for the event and we will work very hard to make this revised event timing the best it has ever been. Spring offers travellers a wonderful opportunity to visit London and we expect to provide a wonderful event, bigger and better than ever.

Before the event does take place and, in the meantime, we will be looking at the following:

• An online virtual exhibition including stand profiles and tours for our loyal exhibitors – promotion to our database of visitors.

• A series of webinars bringing specific stakeholder groups together such as IMPA ACT, Digitalisation, Sustainability and Procurement – The IMPA blog categories.

• Further development of the IMPA Blog.

For further information about these initiatives, keep an eye on the IMPA Blog at www.impablog.com.

Finally, let us say that we intend to create a positive outcome to this challenging situation we all face by providing an IMPA London in March 2021 we can all celebrate.
